A Safer Browser for Kids, With Websites You Approve

The Milo Browser helps parents guide where their kids go online with approved websites and individual child profiles. Start exploring on iPhone, iPad, and Android.

The Problem

The Internet Wasn't Designed With Kids in Mind

Kids use the internet to learn, explore, and create — but most browsers assume adult judgment. Parents are left juggling tools that weren't built for families.

Complex filters

Confusing settings that require constant tweaking and still miss things.

After-the-fact monitoring

You only find out what your child saw after the damage is done.

Easy to bypass

Kids figure out workarounds faster than the tools can keep up.

Milo takes a different approach. Instead of trying to control everything after it loads, Milo helps families decide beforehand what the internet should look like for their child.

The Milo Difference

Not a Filter. A Curated Internet.

No filters to configure. No keywords to manage. Just a simple list of approved sites for each child.

If a site isn't approved, it doesn't load.

Every website is known

No surprises. Every site your child can visit is one you’ve already approved.

Age-appropriate access per child

Each child gets their own profile with a curated list tailored to their age.

Clear and consistent boundaries

Kids know exactly what’s available — no gray areas, no guessing.

Features

Designed for Families — Not Just Devices

Every feature is built to give parents control and kids the freedom to explore within clear boundaries.

Individual Profiles for Each Child

Create separate profiles with their own approved websites, bookmarks, and rules. Perfect for families with kids at different ages and stages.

Custom Allow-Lists You Control

You decide exactly which websites are available per child. Add educational sites, school resources, trusted tools and games. Nothing else loads.

Curated Lists to Get Started Faster

Choose from professionally curated website lists by age range, learning focus, and interests.

Search That Only Searches What You've Approved

Built-in search engine only returns results from allowed websites. No unexpected sites or ads.

Kids Can Request New Websites

When kids want access, they send a request directly to you. You approve or decline with a single click.

Bookmarks That Sync Across Devices

Bookmarks stay in sync across supported devices, making it easy to pick up where they left off.

Our Story

Built by a Parent, for Parents

I'm a dad who simply wanted a safer internet for my kids.

Like many parents, I tried kid-safe browsers, search engines, and filtering tools. Some were complicated. Others were easy to bypass. Many relied on blocking content after it appeared — or made promises that didn't hold up in real-world use.

What I couldn't find was something simple and consistent:

A browser that blocks everything by default — and only allows what I choose.

That idea stuck with me.

I didn't want another filter.
I didn't want constant alerts or reports.
I wanted peace.

So I decided to build the browser I wished existed — first for my own children, and now for other families who want the same peace of mind.

Milo is built around one core belief: Kids deserve the freedom to explore online — within clear, intentional boundaries set by their parents.

That principle guides every feature we build and every decision we make.
